With the full rind, this cheese is great to use with our Raclette melters that hold a half wheel of cheese.
The Raclette cheese is made with pasteurized cow's milk. The round cheese from Bourgogne, Raclette, has a thin, brownish-orange colored rind, and a yellow-ivory creamy texture. This raclette cheese has a nice mild but aromatic taste. It's texture is soft and creamy, with a milky, fruity aroma and a sweet taste. The full wheel is about 12 lb.
This French Raclette cheese is creamier and milder as the Swiss Emmi Raclette.
Made with microbial rennet, a true vegetarian choice!
The cheese will usually ship with UPS ground or US priority mail the following Monday or Tuesday after placing the order. We will contact you if we feel that we can't guarantee the freshness of the cheese by ground shipment. To avoid expedited shipping charges we ship the cheese on ice. Please allow for a fee of $4.00 to cover the cost of ice and foil.

A Good Raclette
While not quite as creamy as either the Livradoux Raclette or the Emmi. This cheese has a unique texture caused by the crisping of the rind as it melts and even the top of the cheese itself. If you like the crispy bits of cheese this is a good one.
