Risler Raclette Cheese from St. Gallen, Switzerland, block ca. 1.75lbs
Risler cheese is hand crafted by master cheese maker Christian Oberli at Kaserei Oberli at more than 2000 feet elevation. The result is an Alpine style cheese, made with pasteurized milk and hand washed for four months. Kaeserei Oberli is located in beautiful canton St. Gallen, close to Wil. The milk comes from grass fed cows from 30 dairy farms in the area of Wil. The flavor is described by the cheese maker as custard, yogurt and garlic, with a long finish. Its paste is firm, dense and flaky, speckled with protein crystals.
The block is about 1.75 lbs.
The block is perfect to cut even slices that fit in the dishes from your raclette grill.

The cheese will usually ship with UPS ground or US priority mail the following Monday or Tuesday after placing the order. We will contact you if we feel that we can't guarantee the freshness of the cheese by ground shipment. To avoid expedited shipping charges we ship the cheese on ice. Please allow for a fee of $4.00 to cover the cost of ice and foil.
