Vacherin Fribourgeois AOP, half wheel, 7 lbs
This Vacherin Fribourgeois AOP is made on the alps in Canton Fribourg, Switzerland. Crafted the old fashioned way, the cheese is wrapped with a gauze band around the wheel with a bumpy, rustic looking surface. Deep, earthy, and perfectly light, with a yogurt like sourness, slight core still in the paste. The Vacherin melts like cream. It is made from raw milk.
The half wheel is about 7 lbs.
