Transhumance 2019 is about to start

The winter was long in Switzerland but the first farmers will move to higher altitudes by the end of May, other's like our friends in Alp Maran, will have to wait some more.
Here is the current view over Alp Carmenna, one of the alps that bring the cheese to Alp Maran to make our delicious Raclette cheese. The good news is that even in Arosa, the snow will eventually melt. If you like to check how the the view changes, click on Carmenna webcam.
Usually the cows are being brought up to Arosa middle to end of June, depending on the weather. Check back often for updates!
